![]() *There is no animation on the turbulent noise or cc toner - those 2 effects are just so that the balls of CC ball action are different colors. (it kinda goes through the roof anyway - this is a render intensive effect especially with that 2nd instance of particle playground) If you don't do this the whole thing becomes a mess with too many particles and your render time will go through the roof. Important not if you do this - The layer that is functioning as your layer exploder needs to have a very small alpha amount - this is why the balls on CC ball action in the first precomp are very small and for the 2nd instance where the whole precomp is functioning as a layer exploder - I used extract to remove 95% of that layer's alpha. That's basically it - you could stop here for quite a good effect but what I did on mine to add even more density is I precomposed everything then had that precomp function as another emitter that emits more particles. On the layer exploder section of particle playground set the layer to the CC ball action layer. Turn off the cannon - set it to zero particles per second You'll need to adjust other properties within CC ball action but those are the only ones you need keyframes on. ![]() Its a good one to start with if youre practicing with particle systems. The CC Particle System is the most basic particle system available in After Effects. Youll find the three built-in particle systems in the Effects window. You can attach a particle system to a node in the Xcode scene editor to preview the. Lets look at some of the particle systems that are available within After Effects. The following isn't an exhaustive list of what I did but it should help if you want to try out this technique:Īdd CC toner to get some different colors*Īdd transform and scale everything until all you get is a bar stretched horizontally in the center of the screenĪdd CC ball action and animate the following properties: Your artists can work on new particle effects independent of your game code. Particle Playground: Play around with particles and create beautiful images which you can save and upload to be shared with others.
